Summertime is all about the kiddo’s having fun and enjoying a break from school around here! For our family, that usually means we are out and about until after dark many days. And of course there are the vacations….ah vacation…just saying it gets me antsy to go on our next one! One thing we love to do on vacation is to take our bicycles so we can go riding in the evenings on a bike trail, at a park or a nice cruise down the beach!
This year riding in the evenings will be much easier for us to do thanks to a new Lumenx LED mountable headlight/flashlight. I knew when I accepted this review that it would be perfect for the kiddos bikes since one of us usually has to carry a flashlight or head in earlier due to limited sight.
Benefits of the Lumenx LED Headlight/Flashlight:
- Bright CREE Q5 bulb
- Up to 500 Feet light visibility
- 1X – 2000X zoom and flash mode
- Portable and easy to install, no tools required
- Durable military grade aluminum
- Waterproof with advanced “O” ring seal
- Convenient safety features
The hubby installed the Lumenx headlight in less than a minute without any tools required. Removal is just as quick and simple! There was even a free clip-on rear tail light included that can either stay red or you can have it as a flashing red tail light! And no worries if you forget to remove the headlight or choose not too, because this headlight is a completely waterproof LED light!
It shines up to 500 feet which is plenty of light for us to see the path ahead of us. And if you ever need a flashlight, simply slide the flashlight out of the bicycle mount to use as a handheld flashlight! We are getting so much use out of the Lumenx headlight around here and we will never ride blind again!! It is one of those products that you can get along without, but once you have it…you will want to use it all the time!
You do not have to ride blind either! You can find the Lumenx on Amazon with the free rear tail light included and free shipping!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
